This my friends, is what I woke up to each morning from my bedroom window. Nothing like opening your eyes to see the waves crashing on the rocks. Oh and the sound!!! I slept with my window open all night to hear the sounds of the ocean and the seagulls.
This was taken on the day we left....I have a half hearted smile because this was after the girls wiped the snot off my face from crying. I had to be pulled away kicking and screaming. I kid, I kid. I really blew my nose.
A couple of goof balls. I think they had just woke from a sugar induced coma.
So this was the sugar stash. We made candy cane peppermint hot cocoa and chocolate rice crispy treats as well as the usual junk. Of course we bought one healthy thing.....um a pint of milk which we never used. But we did have a crab salad. Does that count?
One thing we did was craft some of these blocks. Didn't they turn out cute? I sell them at our craft shows so if any of you wish to have some this year, please feel free to send me a note. They are ornaments for the tree measuring 2x2". I have also personalized some with photos that turn out really cute as well.

Welcome back!
Welcome Back, Vonda. It's odd because I was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering where you were and if all was well.
I absolutely love your view, the fact that you went away with your girls, and those adorable ornaments. Can I purchase?!!
What a wonderful get-away! Love that ocean view too! Good to see you back. =)
Hi, stranger. I imagine you are quite busy with your crafting and holiday sales. Good to hear form you again.
So good to hear from you and see your smiley face, albeit half hearted. *grin*
What a gorgeous trio of women, btw.
So glad to hear you had some quality time together and, wow!, what a place to spend it.
Big Hug,
Carolynn
The blocks are adorable. And your girls are gorgeous! Just one question: where's your funky hat?
What a gloriously perfect trip for you and your girls! I'm glad you were able to get away and just decompress. Welcome back.
Looks like you had a well-deserved good time. That sugar laden table just cracks me up!
Your block ornaments are incredibley cute. I love the old-fashioned country feel of them.
Sounds and looks like you three were having too much fun. Is that possible?
Let's go again. Skip Christmas! ;o) Love you so much!
p.s. I finished the block ornaments for Jo and Ryan! Love them! Thanks for the new craft idea!
