Outside Please

As soon as the child could live without the constant solicitude of his mother, his nanny or his cradle- rocker, he belonged to adult society.
~Phillippe Aries, (20th C. French Historian)

I'm an adult now Gwamma. I can take two to four steps all by myself.

Let me out there!!

I remember my own little one- who will be turning 16 at the end of May-staring out the windows and asking to go out! She was about the same "sturdiness" as yours, and the chubbiest cheeks I'd ever seen.

Cute post!
My Grandson has just began to walk, but he is glued to his Mama right now. But there will come a time when he will walk around the farm with Mamaw.

What a sweetheart!! Isn't it amazing once the weather gets warm how they want outside? Both my boys loved the dirt and mud. Funny, there was always plenty of mud!

Oh, I miss babies. I can live vicariously through this blog, however.

Some of my favorite pictures are of my kiddos from the other side of the window as they look out---all squished up against the glass and blowing bubbles.
Poor baby, can't go out on his own just yet.

Gosh...it happens so fast. They just want to go and get all independant on us like that so soon.

Don't worry little guy. Soon enough you'll be free to explore on your own....but for now take hold of Gwamma's hands and feel the grass on your toes....and feel the Gwamma kisses on your sweet cheeks!
