Solitude

When we cannot bear to be alone, it means we do not properly value the only companion we will have from birth to death - ourselves.

That's a beautiful tree. Personally, I prefer to be alone than to be with others. With the exception of a special animal friend by my side, solititude greatly appeals to me :)

That's the perfect picture for these very true words, Vonda!

Love that tree!
That statement is so true!
If it were possible I'd pack up and leave, but I'd just follow myself. I always say I am my own worst enemy.
But me, myself and I are becoming better friends everyday.

Beautiful picture!
I am learning to like being alone, more and more as I age. I didn't used to want to spend one moment alone with me. I was not good company. I had to turn off the hateful voices in my head.
