Squeeze Me Make Me Whine

Ha ha! I once saw that little saying on a t-shirt at a winery where my cousin used to work as a wine master.

Our grapes are finally ready and the sweet taste was worth the wait. Now if we can get them picked before the birds do this weekend we just might make some grape juice. No Noble Pig, I can't make wine so you have absolutely no competition.

I *heart* grapes. The look, the smell, the taste, the WINE!

Very nice nails, BTW. I'm envious. I've always struggled with terrible, cracked, splitting nails. It's a blow to my self-esteem to have this one flaw mar what is otherwise absolute perfection. ;oÞ

Hmmmm, let's see....

Egg gatherer, grape collector, French nails...it does not compute.

Danger, Will Robinson, danger!!!!

Yes you can, just throw in some yeast!

So, our grapes are ripening as I type this...it smells so good to walk by the vines...and the ripe ones taste like candy! Half the vine has seeds, the other half doesn't and we have NO CLUE what varieties either half are! That's what comes from moving onto a property with existing fruit! Do you have a good recipe for grape juice or any tips you want to share with lil ol' me?
(sigh...I remember french manicures...)

I used to make grape juice! It's fun, actually. I had concord grapes. The juice was incredibly delicious.

I've never had nails that nice, however.

Oh they look delicious! Do you actually grow enough to make wine? (I wouldn't know how many that is...just curious) They must not be those green kind you buy in the stores all summer, huh?

What a beautiful bunch of grapes.....and just look at those nails too......I'm jealous....=)

How cool that you can grow your own grapes. Some in our area have luck growing them, but most do not.

Hummm....now I want some grapes to eat......better go check the fridge.

For some reason, those don't look ripe to me.
I'm really, really jealous of the beautiful fingernails. Do you really do all your own gardening? (just jealousy speaking out ;) )

Awwww, and I was hoping this was going to be one of those 'naughty posts' ....you know, with all the squeezing...and whining going on and all that. :P

The grapes do look kind of sexy actually.

Again,I find myself jealous of the things you can grow there that I can't here. The grapes are beautiful.
