Sky Watch Friday

Angry Sunset

When farmer and I were driving home Thursday evening there was the most amazing and brilliant rainbow I have seen in a long time. It was so vivid that it looked almost fake. We had our granddaughters so we had to stop and get out to look at it. I did not have my camera with me so of course I missed the opportunity to capture it. However, shortly after arriving home I was rewarded with this sunset.

To see other beautiful skies from around the world pay a little visit here.

Sorry, you missed the photo op! But atleast you got to enjoy it with the ones you love!
For this reason, my camera always goes with me. Even if I do get teased about it.
And, yes, it looks very angry.

Wow! It looks like smoke from a forest fire. Very exotic and powerful. Proving once again, it's all in the lighting.

Wow! I think this might be one of my favorites so far!!! Do you have Emmy and Goose all weekend? We'll come out and play tomorrow, Byron's been asking for "Omma" daily! I think he needs to get some good "picking on" in! :D Poor Emma!

Beautiful! I miss seeing sunsets like that! Too much smog in Denver for consistantly beautiful sunsets... oh well.

Wonderful photo! I skipped skywatch this week. I had nothing wonderful, and besides, I'm giving myself permission to ease up on blogging.

Beautiful shot.........those clouds do look angry.

I forgot my camera today when I left for town.......on the way home I missed my chance to get some shots of the first snow flurries of the year..........

Have a great weekend.........=)

I would not have missed seeing this shot for anything! Rainbows, even some gloriously memorable ones, I have stored in my heart but these clouds it would have been tragic to miss out on.
