Child Labor #2

This little girl, Lucy, is three years old. She loves to help in the kitchen. She insists on dragging out the step stool and helping me cook dinner almost as soon as we enter the door.

When things get a little hot around the stove she is put to work at the sink. Here she washes the dishes.

Why is she smiling like that? She must want something. I think she is the poster child for sweat shops and child labor laws.

Shhhh! Don't turn me in. I only had her carry these from the garden to the porch which was two miles and they only weigh about fifty pounds each.

Lucy is sooo cute, how can you be so cruel. My girls have really grown to be quite the helpers. Tera washed and folded clothes yesterday w/o being told to. I almost fainted. She's 12. Your pumkins are beautiful.

You were justified, Vonda. One can stand only so many beatific smiles and so many clean dishes. No court in the land would convict you.

How precious is she??? I hope that walk from the pumpkin patch to the porch included a hill or two;) She'll need that to beef up her story.

yep and that is why women got smart enough to invent the wheel, to get the pumpkins from the patch to the porch. :)

I am jealous of your absolutely adorable helper! Tell her I need my floors done, please. I can't get my boo boo finger wet.

No, really. I'll send a cab to pick her up . . .

THOSE DIMPLES! She's more than welcome to come help out around my hose if she so desires... she can even "help" cook, help meaning actually cook it. Please.

She is sooo cute-doesn't look like all that hard labor is hurting her much!

What a sweetie. Looks like she's a chef in the making. Perhaps one day, she'll make the entire dinner for you AND clean up so you can just relax & enjoy.

Oh golly, what a cutie pie...with a smile like that, it doesn't look one bit like she's minding the work you're heaping upon her. :-)

How sweet the Welcome must be to arrive in the door after a day of work...to such a cutie like her!!
And such a helper in deed! Wished I had a little one around I could squeeze each day!

OOOOooo, such a mean, mean grandma! I'll bet she's telling the folks at child protective services how awful you are.
Lucky, lucky little lady. Lucky G'ma too!
